Developed by woodturner extraordinaire Andre Martel in Quebec, Canada, the Martel calipers are the most universal and user-friendly thickness calipers you can buy. Available in 3 sizes, for all your turning sizes and shapes of hollowing out deep vessels, vases, bowls, etc.

The unique design allows you to reach deep into smaller vessels, unlike most others which need a larger opening, and the double-endedness allows you to see EXACTLY what the measurement is on the end deeply buried in your project.

Available in 3 sizes

• Small (6-12) = 6 ‘’ deep throat or 12’’ overall . Will measure a 12’’ diam bowl to the right center, and a 14’’ bowl to 1’’ from center.
• Medium (10-20) = 10‘’ deep throat or 20’’ overall . Will measure a 20’’ diam bowl to the right center, and a 22’’ bowl to 1’’ from center.
•  Large (14-28) = 14‘’ deep throat or 28’’ overall . Will measure a 28’’ diam bowl to the right center, and a 30’’ bowl to 1’’ from center.
