Where were they made and what are they made of?
The RGWOOD Carving Mallets are handcrafted by our very own Josiah Gadd in Maple Ridge, BC.
They are made with high-quality Beech or Acacia wood. Each mallet is finished with a durable Poly-X oil which highlights the wood's natural beauty and ensures lasting performance.
Due to their hand-turned nature, no two mallets are exactly alike, though they are quite similar in shape and size. The mallet head measures approximately 2.5" in diameter, with an overall length of 8.5." This size offers a well-balanced, comfortable tool for precise carving.

DELIVERY EXPECTATIONS
Most of our Canadian orders are now shipped via UPS, Fedex, Purolator, or Canada Post on a 2 - 7 day service, however smaller and more remote destinations may take longer to receive their orders.
Heavier items such as nails and some heavy lathe parts will be shipped by ground and may take up to 7 - 10 days to arrive, depending on location.
