The Nova 6040 Cole Jaw kit includes 12″ Cole Jaws and the 6030 Cole Jaw Bumper set.
Cole Jaws are Designed for re-chucking of bowls to remove chuck marks, add decoration or to re-shape the bottoms of bowls that have already been turned. Other Nova jaw sets can be fitted to the Cole Jaws making a combination jaw facility. Suitable for lathes with minimum 14″ diameter swing. Additional accessory rubber bumpers are included in this combo kit. These jaws have many advantages over traditional vacuum chucking. Diecast aluminium with preset holes, for precise closing, durability and long life.
Nova Cole Accessory Jaw Set is an accessory for Nova chucks. Designed to expand the range and capacity of your standard Nova chuck for specific projects and applications. Universally fits to any NOVA chuck for maximum interchangeability. Duplicate accessories are not needed for different Nova chucks. Designed for the re-chucking of bowls (to remove chuck marks), add decoration or to reshape the bottoms of bowls (that have already been turned). Expands dovetail facility for mounting bowls/platters. Reverse dovetail for mounting footed bowls/platters.
The 6030 accessory kit contains 8 multi-sided buffers and 8 long pin buffers to enable you to hold a variety of projects in your NOVA Cole Jaws and Mini Cole Jaws with substantially more holding power. The combination kit with the Cole jaws and this bumper kit.
Will this fit my lathe?
This Kit is ideal for lathes with a 14″ swing, and can be purchased as a kit here with the 6030 bumpers or on it’s own
if you have a lathe with a 16″ or larger swing, consider the full size cole jaw kit with the 6039 extenders for bowls up to 15″.

DELIVERY EXPECTATIONS

Heavier items such as nails and some heavy lathe parts will be shipped by ground and may take up to 7 - 10 days to arrive, depending on location.
