The SIA 1904 Sandpaper Foam Pad, part of the SIASOFT series, has a latex backing and is is popular for woodturning, as the foam provides some heat insulation, and also softens contours. Cut into strips, these work VERY well for pen turning, etc.

The flexible 1904 siafit abrasive for manual sanding with pressure-equalizing foam for round areas, shapes and difficult to access areas. Versatile perforated roll in siasoft quality with a main focus on the automotive industry as well as interior work and furniture production. Foam-backed siasoft ensures the very gentle and even use of abrasives. It prevents unwanted sanding-through and helps the user achieve a perfect surface with minimal scratch depth.
