RGWOOD Carbon Fiber Collet Style Turning Tool Handles
These new RGWOOD Carbon Fiber Collet Style Turning Tool Handles were designed right here in Canada, by Dave McLachlan. Dave is a highly skilled wood turner and a member of the Nova Wood Turner’s Guild in Nova Scotia. He is also a valued friend and customer of Woodworker Specialties. Originally selling these handles just to local turners in Nova Scotia, Dave recently partnered with us to produce these handles on a larger scale. Now that we have them in stock, we’re excited for you to give them a try!
These tool handles are light weight and fit well in the hand. They use the ER25 Collet nut system, and include 3 sizes of collets to allow for interchangeability with a variety of tool shank diameters. The collets included are 10mm (3/8”), 12mm (1/2”) and 16mm (5/8”), and weigh in at 61 grams, 53 grams, and 40 grams, respectively. These handles are 35 mm in diameter and are available in 14 inch (332 grams) and 18 inch (356 grams). Measurements include the ER25UM nut.

Each purchase of one of these handles includes:
- One 14 inch (w: 332 grams) or 18 inch (w: 356 grams) carbon fiber handle (Please select)
- One 10mm (3/8") collet. Weight: 61 grams
- One 12mm (1/2") collet. Weight: 53 grams
- One 16mm (5/8") collet. Weight: 40 grams
- One clamping ER25UM nut to lock the collet and tool into place
