Mount up whatever jaws you use most frequently to your new Stronghold body, and enjoy the speed and convenience of having multiple jaw options ready to go at a moments notice. This barebones kit includes the chuck body, chuck key, and your choice of Taperlock Insert (choose from the dropdown box).
The ONEWAY Stronghold Chuck is Designed and manufactured in Canada with excellent materials and well engineered features. This chuck is a favourite among many turners who have been waiting patiently for us to carry the Oneway lineup.
What makes ONEWAY stand out from the competition?
Base jaws are made from carbon steel. Precision grinding on the sides provides for the exact and controlled clearances which are required for wood turning chucks.
Base jaws are case hardened which makes them longer lasting, stronger, and non-seizing in use.
Scroll is precision machined and case hardened. The bore is honed to exact tolerances after heat treating.
The scroll is manganese phosphate plated which acts as an anti-seize compound. Less lubrication is consequently required for smooth running action over the life of the chuck.
The body is precision machined. Electroless nickel plating provides a hard wearing surface for base jaws and scroll while giving the added bonus of providing excellent corrosion resistance.

DELIVERY EXPECTATIONS
Most of our Canadian orders are now shipped via UPS, Fedex, Purolator, or Canada Post on a 2 - 7 day service, however smaller and more remote destinations may take longer to receive their orders.
Heavier items such as nails and some heavy lathe parts will be shipped by ground and may take up to 7 - 10 days to arrive, depending on location.
