This is a 6 Piece (+1) Carpenter Chisel Set by Pfeil Swiss Made. This set contains 6 carpenter chisels and a bonus Pfeil marking tool, in a wooden box.
The handles are octagonal with an oval cross-section of strong elm wood, and they rest perfectly in the hand.Â
Each of these tools has a 25 degree angle with micro-bevel on the cutting edge. These blades are made of the highest quality steel, hardened to 59/60-degree HRC. Each chisel is finely honed, polished, and are razor sharp!

The environment and our living space are important to us. Precious resources like water, air and energy are used sparingly and as efficiently as possible in Pfeil's manufacturing. They deliberately use native woods to produce the tool handles. They are treated with solvent-free vegetable oil; this means for example that the octagonal handles made of ash sit firmly and securely in your hands.

Carving tools should be handled with care. They should be stored in roll-up cases, wooden boxes or wall-mounted tool racks. The tools should not be allowed to fall on the floor or impact one another. This will avoid mistakes when cutting and also injuries. In order to prevent corrosion (rust etc.), the tools must be stored in a dry room. For longer periods of storage, it is recommended that the tool blades are protected with a thin coat of light oil. Â
