FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We endeavor to ship orders within 1 business day. If there is a delay beyond that, we will contact you. Most orders to USA are shipped UPS on a 2 – 3 business day service. This also applies to most major centers in Canada, although areas further out from major centers may ship UPS standard or Canada Post Expedited service.

If you have ANY issue with your purchase from us, please contact us at csr@woodworkerspecialties.com or call toll-free at 1-866-254-6305 and we will do our best to make it right, whether it involves walking you through a solution in the field, arranging a replacement product, or arranging a return. We honor the manufacturer's warranty policies directly for all the lines we stock.
Orders in Canada are of course subject to applicable Canadian taxes. Orders to the USA under $800 are not affected by US Customs, and ship like a domestic shipment. We’ve been around since 2003. You can Google our company…it appears we have a lot of happy customers. We also sell on Amazon and eBay – if you look at our feedback you’ll see our ratings are usually either at or very close to 100% positive. We’re in this for the long haul, so we do what we can to keep happy customers coming back!
Very well. We work with the tools themselves (most of them!), we are indeed woodworkers, and know our products well enough to know any idiosyncrasies, common issues around usage, how to repair, etc. There are not a lot of technical questions you can ask about our products. We’re NOT just an “online seller” looking to make money – of course we need to make money, but we’re working in an area we know and can service well.
We get very few requests for returns and repairs (stay with good quality product, and this is minimized), but regularly get asked about our return policy. When you have a problem, we want to help you fix it, not create a bigger one! So, here is OUR RETURN POLICY, or in other words, “WHAT TO DO WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM!”:
- If you get your product and decide it just isn’t what you wanted (you don’t like the shade of colour?), we simply ask that you pick up the shipping, and we’ll be happy to refund the product. Please DO contact us first before returning so we can provide return instructions at csr@woodworkerspecialties.com or call toll-free at 1-866-254-6305 (Especially if shipping from outside of Canada).
- Tool not working? Call us first at 1-866-254-6305. USUALLY we can sort it out over the phone. Most problems we can walk you through. Even if parts are required, if we are able to diagnose your problem over the phone (and most we can), it is faster and more efficient to send you the parts and talk you through the repair (most are actually quite easy with minor instruction). We fully recognize you bought your tool to use it, not to wait for a repair. On the rare occasion you need to return your tool to us for a repair, we will do our best to get it back to you as quickly as possible.
