NOVA 9086 Adapter

The NOVA 9086 Adapter is Compatible with NOVA Chucks and threaded accessories. They are used to adapt lathe spindle tooling to another lathe with different threaded spindles. They allow your chucks and faceplates to be interchangeable between lathes with different spindle sizes. Now, with our adapters, you can share your favorite tooling between multiple lathes, without having the expense of duplicating tooling. Threading on this product is 1″ x 8TPI female to 1 1/4″ x 8TPI Male

IMPORTANT NOTE

As this adaptor is used to create a lathe spindle size that will hold a variety of accessories, run out and
performance may vary depending on what accessories you are using. We cannot guarantee run out
or performance of these accessories while using this thread adaptor. These specialized Thread
Adaptors also have a different warranty from our usual NOVA chucks and NOVA Chuck
inserts/adaptors.

MOUNTING THE SPINDLE ADAPTOR

THE SPINDLE ADAPTORS NEED TO BE LOCATED AND SCREWED ON THE LATHE SPINDLE. WE
RECOMMEND USING THE NYLON WASHER PROVIDED TO ALLOW FOR A TIGHT, SOLID FIT AGAINST
THE LATHE SPINDLE. THIS MAKES THE ADAPTOR EASIER TO REMOVE WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED USING
IT.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO LOCATE BOTH SURFACES OF THE THREADED ADAPTOR AGAINST THE FLAT OF
THE LATHE SPINDLE AND ENSURE IT IS TIGHTLY SEATED HOME IN THE ACCCESSORY USED.
WARNING: ENSURE SET SCREW IS TIGHTLY SCREWED AGAINST THE LATHE SPINDLE TO ENSURE
PROPER LOCKING.
